A Cool East London Winter Wedding
Sara and Alex wed on 10 November 2018 inside a civil ceremony within the unique and quirky setting of Peckham, London having a reception full of deep red roses, navy, and splashes of gold in Deptford. The bride, a movie producer, and groom, a voice artist, and actor, made fun and informal winter day, applying their own as well as their friends’ artistic talents to create this quirky, modern celebration.
Sara opted to combine modern and classic styling in her own choice of a pure silk gown, which she is available. I love the easy, sleek silhouette and a statement belt, along with the way the sunshine fabric ruffles for the train.
“The dress came like a two-piece and I fell deeply in love with it for a lot of reasons. I come with an hourglass shape and quite big boobs then when I started to test dresses I found that the Princess-style dress having corset support around the waist and bust would be a very flattering shape. However, I didn’t want anything too generic and extremely didn’t desire a heavy dress I couldn’t relocate.”
For a stylish, clean look Sara’s bridesmaids dressed up in multi-way navy bridesmaid dresses, styled to match their shapes and private tastes. Their jewelry, gifted to them by the bride-to-be, is of rose gold; bangles, and rose gold heart necklaces.
Alex is lucky enough to get have an extremely talented florist for any sister and she or he created these dramatic yet relaxed bouquets.

“The florist was wonderfully fantastic and very talented who also is Alex’s sister! She perfectly understood what we should want and created beautifully season-appropriate flowers for the bouquets and boutonnieres, in addition to amazing foliage for that reception venue. Her focus on detail is insane and she or he went far above also creating foliage.”
Sara traveled with the city streets to Asylum Chapel inside a double-decker bus before entering together with her father Aretha Franklin’s ‘NaturalWoman’.
The speeches were a vital part of the day and one of Alex’s favorite moments.
“My favorite part from the day needs to be either as soon as the doors opened and also the bridesmaids walked on the aisle then Sara or all of the speeches. I love an address at a wedding and, as being a group of actors, the delivery from the speeches was absolutely on point.”
“I loved every minute. I bring events and productions together for any living so didn’t think it is stressful really. I took in every minute and everything is special. From as soon as I woke up around the morning with my sister and maid of honor Holly for you to get ready, our bus ride there, our set up yesterday, my father walking me on the aisle, the ceremony, the meals, the party, the speeches… everything only agreed to be so wonderful.”
“We’ve lost several family members coupled with some tough times within the past year so I spent my big day being grateful for every person in that room and treasuring every second. All our family and friends did so much to assist bring our day together and I couldn’t have asked for any better day.”
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“Eat well and drink lots of water within the run-up. You will feel overwhelmed at points there can be stressful moments. If you take care of your body you won’t just have great skin and feel fab, additionally, you will sleep better and become more productive inside a day. Also, I think the power starts at the top; if you’re relaxed other people are too. Don’t struggle alone. Use your family and friends as they want to assist.”
