A FeelTimes Bride and Her Late Summer Garden Wedding At Dewsall Court

We’re at Love My Dress Wedding Directory favourite, Dewsall Court in Herefordshire, for today’s late summer wedding, filled with rich, autumnal tones and private touches. Please welcome supply chain manager Beth and market insights manager Craig, who chose 25 September 2021 for his or her Dewsall Court wedding.

Perfect for any weekend escape using their closest family and friends, Dewsall’s lush gardens and outdoor areas informed your day’s décor using its autumnal and late summer colours and textures.

“We chose Dewsall Court as it’s an attractive house where we’re able to spend a weekend with this nearest and dearest whilst getting married.”

“We desired to incorporate plenty of autumnal colours once we got married within the transition from summer to Autumn.”

“Bride & Alter were helpful and friendly, making everything super easy. I recommend them.”

“I tried on some expensive dresses from wedding boutiques and some options from feeltimes dresses. The FeelTimes one was the main one I felt preferred and myself in.”

TThe gorgeous team at Rewritten come up with beautiful purple bridesmaid dresses worn through the bridesmaids..

The bride and her bridesmaids each carried a wild, seasonal bouquet developed by Luna In The Wild.

“We requested autumnal colours and seasonal blooms. We left it to Maria to operate her magic, which she did!”

Craig’s dapper suit was from Cad & The Dandy on Savile Row, and he wore it with accessories from Trendhim.

Craig: “My favourite memory is seeing Beth the very first time as she started to walk on the aisle. She looked incredible and thus happy.”

The couple’s day was captured in a relaxed, natural and joyous manner by Danielle of D&J Photography.

“She was great – very calming and thorough, really clear with what she wanted from us and just how she would capture your day.”The photos are perfect and have been put into our memories. We would recommend her wholeheartedly!”

Dewsall Court’s full-blown gardens made an ideal backdrop for wedding photographs and post-ceremony chatting before the whole party moved into the barn for that wedding breakfast.

Craig and Beth crossed paths at Cardiff University where they were both studying Chemistry.

“We got together as we had both finished uni and I was moving to London where Craig lived.”

“We got engaged within the Netherlands once we were living there at that time. It had been coming and Craig purchased a ring when he was home for Christmas.”

“We were engaged for pretty much two years before we’ve got married.”

“We were incredibly lucky the pandemic didn’t overly influence our day. We were taking a look at venues within the first summer of Covid when things were somewhat relaxed.”

“As we lived abroad, we came home the very first time since everything began and saw fifteen wedding venues while seeing us and friends too.”

“Our date didn’t need to move and we trusted individuals to be careful. On your day, we’d a couple of people give up due to Covid symptoms plus some guests weren’t in a position to travel from Europe.”

“But, generally, our day was exactly the way we wanted.”

“Luna In The Wild decorated the beams within the barn and we hung photos of people with all of our family and friends along the walls.”

“We gave everyone just a little Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate, as it’s what our friends always bought once they visited us within the Netherlands.”

The pure white, tiered cake was made by the bride’s aunt Anne.

“My favourite part was the speeches and espresso martinis after dinner.”

The evening music originated from the band Velvet Soul, following a first dance to ‘Feel The Need In Me’ through the Detroit Emeralds.

“It’s an excellent song and never too fast. One of the lines is ‘I need your love’, that is true for both people.”

Words of Wedded Wisdom

“Make your day what you want so that it is. If you want more time for that party in the evening, get it done. If you want vegetarian food, get it done.”

“The most significant thing is you are happy – not your loved ones, or friends, or other people. And stay friends together with your partner as you go through everything!”
