A Quirky, Movie-Inspired Wedding
Meet Katie and Sean, who married around the 17th of February 2018 in Birmingham. The couple met at the office and got engaged in Castleton within the Peak District in 2017, so planned their special day in just 6 months.
“We are generally big film lovers and knew that people wanted our venue to become something a little different. The minute we stepped into we couldn’t see ourselves saying ‘I do’ elsewhere. was ideal for us too once we wanted our pictures to become very urban and also the room was right within the city center with your a good vibe.”
Katie wore an attractive lace wedding dress, which she purchased in. I just adore the tulle skirt and also the delicate lace around the top. It manages to become both fun and stylish.
“The beaded top stood out in my experience instantly and I loved the feel of the dropped sleeves. It is delicate and delightful. I fell deeply in love with all from the tulle and just how the simple skirt contrasted with the fitted, intricate beaded top. It helped me feel like a princess.”
“Our photographer prides himself on being a relaxed and candid photographer which was precisely what we wanted. After our first ending up in Nick, I was certain that he would capture our day perfectly. He had the concept to take pictures of people walking through Birmingham City Centre and also the pictures were brilliant. We both wanted an ‘urban’ feel towards the wedding so I was excited to determine what the pictures would come out like.”
“We wanted simple flowers for that bouquets and also the bridesmaids had simple gypsophila bouquets. I didn’t want my bouquet to appear too perfect and asked for any loose bouquet with a lot of eucalypti to complement my headpiece. All from the flowers tied in perfectly, especially with the fake eucalyptus used within the centerpieces.”

To continue the celebrations, the party moved towards the super cool for that reception and meal where guests were entertained by singer Sean Kenwrick.
“We continued the monochrome theme with a monochrome ‘Arctic Monkeys’ inspired table plan. They are our favorite band and also the titles in our favorite songs had become the names in our tables, accompanied by a monochrome album cover and quote on each.”
The bridesmaids looked screen-ready in floor-length gowns, combined with silver heels.

“The speeches and first dance were highlights for me personally. Seeing everyone you like surrounding you as well as your partner and cheering yourself on is amazing. Then to possess everyone joins you around the dancefloor is the greatest feeling ever.”
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“Go together with your gut instinct and plan the wedding exactly how you would like it.”
“Don’t sweat the little stuff because around the day there is little be able to wipe the smile off the face. Have fun!”
