A Sheffield Warehouse Wedding
Today’s couple put fun, great food, and epic cocktails in the center of their day, and chose an incredible industrial venue to party.
Kate, who’s an advisor for any weight management service, and, who’s an art director, were married around 22 June 2019 in Sheffield.
The bridesmaids sparkled in pale pink bridesmaid dresses. They wore their very own choice of shoes, and Kate gave them each a silver heart ring as a thanks gift.
“I’ve always admired feeltimes dresses because the moment I discovered her online, a long time ago. I loved everything relating to this dress; it felt light, delicate, and relaxed. It was the back from the dress that wowed me, however.”
On her feet, Kate wore gold block heels, in addition to earrings along with a bracelet from Her florist made a vintage flower crown of waxflowers on her hair, and she added a cathedral length veil.
“We were created by a mutual friend (bridesmaid and wife from the Best Man) on the night out within our hometown Doncaster, back in the summer of 2008. We talked online for months whilst Joe was back at university, and lastly got together within the Christmas break that year.”
“Whilst traveling together in 2012/13 I was browsing the jewelry shops that lined the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence. I spotted a diamond ring in a shop window and headed inside to test it on. I asked the senior shop owner which finger you wear a diamond ring on, much to Joe’s amusement. The lady replied in Italian, which her son then translated, ‘It doesn’t matter in which the ring is worn, real love is within the heart.'”

“It was at this time that I fell deeply in love with the ring, the woman, her son as well as their shop! We then continued our day sightseeing and returned to the hostel I was staying in for any much-deserved afternoon nap. Unbeknownst in my experience, Joe was built with a plan. After a quick telephone call to his mum to inquire about her advice, Joe decided he required to get the ring.”
“Joe asked the lady within the shop to jot down what she had said in my experience earlier in the day. He ran back towards the hostel using the ring and also the note safely kept in his backpack. Our travels ended around about six weeks after this, and Joe was able to keep the ring hidden for your time. It then sat in the bedside drawer, at his mum’s house, for nearly 4 years.”
Joe awaited the arrival of his bride-to-be, wearing a good blue suit, that they chose at their Leeds store, where he enjoyed great service from the assistant store manager, Dan. Joe paired his suit having a white shirt, shoes, as well as a watch gifted to him by Kate.
“Our Best Man, Tom, was built with a short solo, that they were nervous about, but he wowed us not surprisingly.”
Kate and her bridesmaids carried lovely, wild bouquets in soft pastel colors, featuring big garden roses, peonies, waxflowers, thistles, eucalyptus, and different ferns.
I love how the photographer captured all of the fun from the day. These gorgeous, natural images are a real joy to behold, also it’s great to be in a position to add to her work.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“My words of wisdom could be, simply do you! Don’t let anyone influence your decisions, and don’t be worried about what anyone will consider your day. Also, be prepared the day won’t be perfect. But that’s okay. I’m the largest perfectionist available, and a lot of things didn’t quite visit plan, however, these did not dampen our joyous memories from the day.”
